Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five Inducted Into Grammy Hall of Fame

Making history once again, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five become the first ever hip-hop artist inducted in the Grammy Hall Of Fame for their 1982 classic hip-hop jam, ‘The Message.’

Two-time Grammy Award winner Common, hip-hop innovator Grandmaster Flash, Grammy winner Lupe Fiasco, two-time Grammy winner LL COOL J, Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Melle Mel and rapper Scorpio blessed the stage together for a special performance of “The Message” on “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! – Countdown to Music’s Biggest  Night,” live from the Nokia Theatre  L.A. Live, Wednesday, November 30, 2011 on the CBS Television Network.

The Iconic single, was title track of the group’s debut album. Many may not feel this is fitting to be Spiritual Minded Magazine, but as publisher and a professional hip-hop junkie, I feel for any rap artists, christian or secular must know the history of what they do. We must respect the architects!
